February 21, 2003, Newsletter Issue #96: Questions to
Ask Yourself

Tip of the Week

Before buying a puppy or adopting an adult dog, ask yourself these important questions:
-- how much time can I spend with my dog, a social creature who craves companionship?
-- how much exercise can I give my dog, an active animal that loves to run and romp.
-- how much grooming can I do? If little, I should consider a short-coated dog.
-- how much training can I give? If you have limited time, choose a breed known for ease of training.
