March 19, 2004, Newsletter Issue #118: Will racoons or other varments use the dog door?

Tip of the Week

Question: I want to install a dog door, but I am worried that racoons might come in. Is this a valid concern?

Answer: Usually not. Cats will often let larg varments such as racoons into your home, but dogs will not. So, if you own dogs you should have no varment troubles with your dog door.
