Rescue Groups - Make Contact

Check with your local humane society or animal shelter for referrals to find a rescue group. Also be sure to check the local shelters for the breed you are seeking. You might get lucky and find the purebred that you are looking for. The Internet is also an excellent resource for finding rescue groups. You can try keyword searches using the breed you're interested in and the word "rescue."
