Tip of the Week

Clicker training has been used to successfully teach reliable behaviors to animals of many species. Operant conditioning (sometimes with a clicker, sometimes a bell or whistle) is used in many zoos, animal parks, and by training professionals to teach animal actors new behaviors. One of the reasons this method is so successful is it avoids the use of physical punishment which in most cases is detrimental to the human/dog relationship.
