October 11, 2002, Newsletter Issue #88: Is Your Adult Dog Acting Funny?

Tip of the Week

Dogs age at different rates according to size. The larger the breed, the shorter the life span. The lab may show aging changes at 7 years while the poodle may not show them until 10 years of age. Behavioral changes should be monitored and checked by a vet to see if dietary or any other changes need to be implemented to assist the pet in this natural process.
