Separation Anxiety in Dogs
There are number of reasons why a dog might exhibit separation anxiety. Lack of proper socialization, being shuttled to multiple homes, past trauma, and simply a nervous nature can be reasons why a dog has separation anxiety.

How do I help my dog overcome separation anxiety? I cannot even go to the bathroom without her whining and getting upset. We just got her and she is a year old, but seems to have a big problem with being left alone, even for a few minutes. She also gets very stressed out in the car as well.
